ABS-CBN launches "Da Best" Christmas Station ID this Thursday

Filipinos definitely have the best Christmas celebration in the world and Kapamilya personalities spread the yuletide cheers Pinoy style via the network’s Christmas Station ID to be launched this Thursday (Nov 10) after “TV Patrol.”
From Cebu’s lechon, bibingka’t puto bumbong, misa de gallo and the parol, the ABS-CBN Christmas SID carries the best Pinoy Christmas traditions and goes beyond celebrations in Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao as it travels and gets a glimpse of how Filipinos celebrate Christmas in the United States, London in Europe, in the Middle East or even in neighboring Tokyo Japan.

The theme song “Da Best Ang Pasko ng Pilipino” was written by Creative Communications Management head Robert Labayen, while the music was composed and produced by Jimmy Antiporda for Star Records. It was performed by 11-year-old Filipino-Canadian You Tube sensation Maria Aragon, together with the University of the Philippines Concert Chorus, and joined by more than a hundred Kapamilya stars from ABS-CBN Entertainment, News and Current Affairs, Regional Network Group TV personalities, DZMM anchors and Tambayan 101.9 DJs as well as Kapamilyas from The Filipino Community worldwide.
This highly anticipated SID launch, which will also premiere simultaneously with ABS-CBN on Studio 23, Hero TV, Lifestyle Network, Velvet, Cinema One, DZMM TeleRadyo, ANC, Myx, Balls, and even abroad via The Filipino Channel, kicks off ABS-CBN Christmas campaign for 2011, which also includes parol selling, Kapamilya Simbang Gabi, a text promo and interactive online games.
Get to light your homes with the 2011 ABS-CBN Parol sold for P 3,010.00 at the ABS-CBN Store ot The Loop, ELJCC Bldg. Parols may also be ordered online via http://abscbnstore.multiply.com. Proceeds from the sale of these parols will go to ABS-CBN Foundation.
Also, Kapamilyas can hear Mass on television with the Kapamilya Simbang Gabi airing at 3 AM from Dec 16 to Dec 24.
Meanwhile, avid viewers can win cash prizes and cellphone load by joining “Da Best ang Pamasko sa Pilipino” promo. Just watch out for the commercial to be aired on ABS-CBN from Mondays to Fridays.

|ABS-CBN Launches New Afternoon Current Affairs Programs|
|On August 6, 2013, ABS-CBN held a Press Conference to introduce the network’s new current affairs programs for the afternoon timeslot. Broadcast journalists Julius Babao, Karen Davila, Doris Bigornia, Atom Araullo, and Anthony Taberna were at the event to represent their respective afternoon public affairs shows and to shed light on personal issues.
