After becoming the first Grand Star Dreamer of Pinoy Dream Academy Season 1 two years ago, Yeng Constantino has grown to become a widely successful composer and artist, having come out with two bestselling albums and becoming a top performer both here and abroad. But the rock princess still considers herself a grounded and family-oriented person. Having stopped schooling temporarily to help out her parents, Yeng has gone on to become a professional singer who has provided her family with a more comfortable living.
Aside from her parents, Yeng is also close to her older brother Josel. The four-year age gap between the two has never been a problem, given their shared love for singing and performing. Kuya Josel, who’s stage name is Cookie, has never hidden the fact about his sexuality from his family and most especially, to Yeng. During a guesting this month on Boy & Kris, Yeng opens up about growing up with a gay brother.
She shares childhood memories with the talk show hosts. Never. Girl na talaga siya,” she recalls on Boy & Kris. Yeng also fondly recalls watching her older brother perform in school even before she entered PDA. “Naka-skirt siya nung field day sa school. Naalala ko sumasayaw si Kuya,” she shares.
Yeng also gives an update on the supposed romance brewing between her and actor-model Carlo Guevara. The two met while on a promotional cruise around Asia.
