Jolo Revilla on the rumor that he is courting Melissa Ricks: ‘Ask her’
by Bernie Franco | May 14, 2010 8:47 AM |

Jolo Revilla admitted he felt vindicated that his stint as Pepeng Agimat is still the highest-rated installment so far among first batch of the Agimat: Mga Alamat ni Ramon Revilla Sr. episodes. “Talagang overwhelming at siyempre nakakataba ng puso, Actually sa tingin ko no’n ako ‘yung nagsisimula noon. Lahat sila nagsimula sa mataas at hindi ko in-expect talaga. Akala ko ako ‘yung pinakamababa. Nagulat ako.” Aside from the Jolo, the other actors featured in Agimat series are Gerald Anderson (Tiagong Akyat), Coco Martin (Tonyong Bayawak), and Jake Cuenca (Elias Paniki).

For the second batch of Agimat characters, Jolo will be Kapitan Inggo, while Ejay Falcon (Kapitan Kidlat), Jason Abalos (Bianong Bulag) and Enchong Dee (Boy Putik) also star in their own installments. Jolo confirmed that he has requested for Melissa Ricks—who was his leading lady in Pepeng Agimat—to play opposite him again, but clarified that the management has the final say. “Hindi ko pa alam kung sino ang makaka-partner ko dito at ngayon, sana kung siya (Melissa) pa rin, mas okay, why not?” he said.

The actor also clarified that there is no rift between him and Jake over Melissa. “Basta all I can say, we’re all friends and ayaw naman natin ng gulo.”

When asked if he is courting Melissa, Jolo replied, “All I can say is ask her.” Previous reports have claimed that Jolo was supposedly courted Melissa while they were doing Pepeng Agimat. “Basta magkakaibigan kami, nag-uusap kami. Basta ayos kami. ‘Yun lang,” he said elusively.

Jolo said that he is currently single after his last relationship with actress Lovi Poe. “After ng past relationship ko naging masaya ako. Marami akong natutunan. At the same time, this is a new book. Closed book na ‘yung dati. Panibagong simula. This time alam kong kaya kong pangatawanan ‘to.
